VISHVANIDAM PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST

Jeetu & Rehana, a sincere, honest & hardworking couple, started this organisation with the immediate objective of education & rehabilitation of children from worst slums of Rajkot. Their long term dream is that there should not be any slums at all. Their approach is to reach the slum dwellers through their children. They started their work with 12 children in one slum area in 2003. Today, they are working in 7 major slums of Rajkot and providing high quality education and overall development facilities to more than 600 children. About 15 top quality schools of Rajkot admit children from Vishvanidam without charging any fees. They also run a Vocational Training Centre (main activities tailoring and computer training) in the same premises where they reside. They also conduct health awareness programmes in slum areas and also promote family planning.
