Vinayak Lohani founder of Parivaar Education Society

Parivaar is committed towards changing destinies of young destitute children (who otherwise would have been doomed to a life on the streets) by providing them a loving, caring environment and the most powerful tool – Education. Its objective is to educate and fully empower destitute children and to ensure their overall development so that they achieve their full potential and get integrated into the mainstream of society. Totally inspired by the life and teaching of Swami Vivekanand Vinayak Lohani, a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and MBA from IIM, Kolkata in late 2003, with just 3 children. Now it is a home to more than 526 children. Parivaar's eldest group is currenty in Grade 11. A new Girls Residential Campus has been built which can accommodate 500 resident girls. At the campus itself is Parivaar's high-quality formal School - Amar Bharat Vidyapeeth. By end of 2012 Parivaar will have more than 1000 resident children.
